This Free Claude Prompt Writes Blog Posts Built to Get Found on Google and AI

Is there a free Claude prompt that writes real estate blog posts? Yes. This free prompt interviews you about your market and your ideal client, then writes blog posts structured to get found on Google and in AI tools like ChatGPT.

It is free. Grab it here, then keep reading for how it works and how to set it up.
The prompt (one .md file): Click here to download the blog writing prompt
It is white labeled. The first time you run it, it asks about your market, your ideal client and how you write, so the posts come out sounding like you, not like me.
An agent asked me for blog prompts. I built her this instead.
An agent emailed me this week. Her web developer had just added a blog to her website, and she wanted to know if I had any prompts she could paste into Claude to write the posts.
I started typing out three quick ones. Then I stopped, because I know what three quick prompts produce: a post that reads fine and looks like every other agent's blog. Nobody bookmarks it. And when a buyer asks ChatGPT the same question, they get an answer just as good without ever landing on her site.
So I took the system I use to write the posts on this site and turned it into one prompt any agent can make their own. It is the same process I run every week, minus everything that was specific to me.
What the prompt does
Every post it writes goes through the same steps, without you asking:
Checks what you have already published so you do not write the same post twice
Tests the topic first. If any AI tool could answer it with a generic reply, it tells you and suggests a sharper angle
Opens with a direct answer to the question the post is about, which is the part AI tools tend to quote
Adds a FAQ section built from questions people actually ask
Links your posts to each other so Google and AI tools can see what your site is about
Writes the search details: SEO title, meta description, URL slug and image alt text
Builds a header image in your brand colors
Saves the post as a draft for you to approve before anything goes live
Follows Fair Housing guardrails and will not make up statistics or client stories
It interviews you once, then remembers
The first time you run it, Claude reads your website and fills in what it can. Then it asks you to confirm or correct a short list:
Your name, company and the areas you serve
The 3 to 5 cities or neighborhoods you most want to be found in
Who you want to reach, described by their situation (first-time buyer, downsizer, relocating from out of state, investor)
The last 5 real questions a client asked you
What you know first-hand that an outsider would get wrong
A couple of things you wrote, so it can match your voice
What you want a reader to do next
Anything your brokerage requires on every post
Question 4 is the one that matters most. Those five questions become your first five posts, and they are already things real people are typing into Google and asking AI.
If you want your posts to sound even more like you, pair it with the free voice prompt I shared last month.
How to use it
This is one file, and there are two ways to use it.
As a prompt (fastest)
Download the .md file from the top of this post
Open any Claude chat and attach the file
Type: use this to write a blog post
It works right away. The catch is that Claude will not remember it next time, so you attach the file again for each post.
As a skill (set it up once)
Open Claude Cowork and attach the file
Type: install this as a skill
Click Save when Claude shows you the skill
Say: set up my blog profile
After that, you just say "write a blog post" and it already knows your market, your reader and your voice. If skills are new to you, here is how to install a Claude skill and build your own, and here is how to set up Claude Cowork in 5 minutes.
Getting posts onto your website
This is where most agents get stuck, so the prompt walks you through it. It figures out what your site is built on, then tries the simplest route first:
A direct connector. If Claude has a connector for your website platform, it connects and saves posts as drafts.
A custom connector. Some platforms and plugins offer their own connection that your web developer can add.
An automation tool. Zapier, Make or n8n can pass the post from Claude to your site.
Assisted paste. Claude hands you the finished post with every field labeled and you paste it in. It takes about three minutes.
Here is what I know today about the common platforms. Connectors change often, so the prompt always tests before it promises anything.
Wix: this is what my site runs on. The Wix connector creates and publishes posts directly.
WordPress: the most common setup for agent sites. Zapier's WordPress app has a Create Post action, so that is usually the fastest route. Here is how to connect any app to Claude Cowork.
Squarespace: as far as I can tell, Squarespace does not currently give outside tools a way to create blog posts. Plan on the paste route.
All-in-one real estate website providers: most do not allow it either. Ask their support one question: do you have an API or a Zapier app that can create blog posts?
Pasting is not a failure. A good post you pasted in beats an automated one that never shipped.
How often should you post?
Less than you think. The prompt recommends one post a week for most agents and caps it at two.
I learned this on my own site. I had posts going out every day for a while, and too many of them covered nearly the same ground. Google stopped indexing a lot of them. I cut back to two a week and put the effort into making each one more specific.
Google's own spam policies describe "scaled content abuse" as generating many pages "for the primary purpose of manipulating search rankings and not helping users." A blog full of daily AI posts that say nothing new is drifting toward that line.
Here is the schedule the prompt suggests, based on how much time you have to review posts:
About 30 minutes a week: one new post every other week, plus one refresh of an older post each month
About an hour a week: one new post a week, plus one or two refreshes a month
Two hours or more: two new posts a week at most
Refreshing counts. Updating an older post with current numbers, a new FAQ and links to your newer posts is often worth more than writing another one.
What makes a post worth finding
Before it writes anything, the prompt asks one question about the topic: would your ideal client bookmark this, or would any AI tool answer it just as well?
The posts that have done best on my site share a pattern:
A first-hand story that solves a real problem
A named tool or process, step by step
A real deadline or rule with local stakes
A countable resource, like a checklist or a list of questions
One specific term explained properly
The ones that go nowhere are short generic explainers and the same post rewritten for every city or property type. The prompt will tell you when a topic is headed that way. For the bigger picture on showing up in AI answers, read how real estate agents can get found in ChatGPT, Gemini and AI search.

If your list of client questions is short, these five formats work in almost any market. Swap in your own area and your own numbers:
The real cost post. What it actually costs to sell a home in your city this year, line by line, using a recent closing of your own as the example.
The deadline post. The property tax appeal window in your county, when it opens, when it closes and how to file.
The local detail post. What a buyer needs to know before writing an offer on a home with a well and septic, or an HOA with a transfer fee, or whatever is common where you work.
The checklist post. The questions a seller should ask before listing, as a numbered list they can print.
The one-term post. One phrase from the contract that confuses your clients, explained in plain language with a real example.
Notice that none of these can be written well by someone who has never worked in your market. That is the point.
What it will not do
Worth knowing before you try it:
It will not invent facts. No made-up statistics, quotes or client stories. If it cannot confirm something, it leaves it out.
It will not publish without you. Posts are saved as drafts until you approve them, unless you tell it otherwise.
It will not create photos. Use your own photos, or let it build a simple branded text header. It never draws a logo, including your brokerage's.
It will not replace your judgment. You know your market. Read every post before it goes live.
It is not legal, tax or lending advice, and it will not do mortgage rate math. It points readers to the right professional.
Why I build these
I am an Account Executive with Chicago Title of Colorado, and a big part of my job is helping agents across Denver Metro and Colorado get more out of their marketing. Lately that means a lot of questions about AI.
This prompt is my answer to one of them. Download it, make it yours and change anything you want.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Claude blog prompt free?
Yes. Download it, use it and change it however you like. You do need your own Claude account.
Do I need Claude Cowork to use it?
No. In a regular Claude chat it still runs the interview and writes the post, and you paste the post into your site. Cowork adds the parts that save the most time: connecting to your website, checking your existing posts, building the header image and running on a schedule.
Will the posts sound like AI wrote them?
Less than a quick prompt would, because it writes from your real client questions, your local knowledge and samples of your own writing. It still needs your read before it goes live. Add one detail only you would know and the post gets better.
Does it work with my website?
It works with any website. On some platforms Claude can save the post to your site directly, and on others you paste it in. The prompt checks which one applies to you and walks you through it.
How many blog posts should a real estate agent publish?
For most agents, one a week, and no more than two. Consistency matters more than volume, and a handful of specific, useful posts will do more for you than a hundred generic ones.
