Why I Keep Teaching Real Estate Marketing Classes for Colorado Agents

Why do I spend so much time teaching classes and hosting events for real estate agents?
Because I believe real estate professionals need practical, helpful, and easy-to-implement marketing ideas they can actually use in their business. Whether the topic is AI, social media, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, farming, Google Business Profiles, or brand awareness, my goal is simple: I want agents to leave with at least one thing they can put into action.
This Honestly Means a Lot
Every once in a while, someone says something that reminds you why you keep showing up.
That happened recently when I received a really kind shoutout about the classes and events I host for real estate agents. And honestly, it meant a lot.
I teach a lot of classes.
Some are about AI.
Some are about social media.
Some are about Facebook Ads, Google Ads, farming, Google Business Profiles, video marketing, brand awareness, and all the different ways real estate agents can market themselves better.
But the reason I keep doing it is pretty simple.
I want agents to walk away with something they can actually use.
Not theory.
Not fluff.
Not a two-hour class where everyone leaves thinking, “That was interesting, but now what?”
I want you to leave with an idea, a tool, a strategy, a prompt, a system, or a next step that helps you grow your business.
That has always been the goal.
Real Estate Agents Do Not Need More Noise
The real estate industry is loud.
Every agent is being told to post more, call more, email more, advertise more, follow up more, create more video, build their brand, learn AI, update their database, farm a neighborhood, run ads, master Google, host events, and somehow still actually sell real estate.
It can feel overwhelming fast.
And I get it.
That is why I try to make my classes practical.
I am not interested in making things more complicated than they need to be. I am interested in helping agents look at the tools available to them and ask, “How can I actually use this in my business?”
That is the difference.
It is one thing to say, “You should use AI.”
It is another thing to show an agent how to use AI to create a listing description, organize market data, write better social media captions, build a seller guide, create a content calendar, or save time on repetitive marketing tasks.
It is one thing to say, “You should run ads.”
It is another thing to walk through how Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and Google Ads can fit into a real estate marketing strategy without making it feel like some giant mystery.
It is one thing to say, “You should build your brand.”
It is another thing to help agents understand what brand awareness actually looks like in real life.
That is what I try to focus on.
My Goal Is Simple: Leave With One Thing
If you have ever been to one of my classes, you have probably heard me say something like this:
Do not try to do everything.
Just leave with one thing.
That is really how I think agents should approach marketing, technology, and business growth.
You do not need to master every platform overnight.
You do not need to become an AI expert in one week.
You do not need to run Facebook Ads, Google Ads, YouTube videos, email campaigns, farming campaigns, and weekly events all at the same time.
But you do need to keep learning.
You do need to keep testing.
You do need to keep improving.
And if you can leave a class with one idea that saves you time, helps you communicate better, improves your follow-up, strengthens your listing presentation, or gives you a better way to stay in front of your database, that is a win.
One thing is enough.
Because one thing implemented is better than 20 ideas you never use.
The Real Estate Agents Who Keep Learning Have an Advantage
Real estate is changing quickly.
Consumer expectations are changing.
Marketing platforms are changing.
AI tools are changing.
The way people search for information is changing.
The way clients choose who to work with is changing.
And agents who continue learning are going to have an advantage.
That does not mean you need to chase every new trend.
It does not mean you need to become the most tech-savvy person in your office.
But it does mean you should stay curious.
The agents who stay curious are usually the ones who find little edges.
They learn how to create better content.
They learn how to explain the market more clearly.
They learn how to use tools that save them time.
They learn how to stay visible without burning themselves out.
They learn how to build trust before someone is ready to transact.
That is a huge part of why I teach.
I want to help agents find those edges.
Why I Teach Beyond Title Insurance
At the end of the day, I work in title insurance.
I am with Chicago Title Colorado, and I am proud of that.
But I also know that if the only thing I ever talked about was title insurance, I would not be nearly as helpful to the real estate professionals I work with.
Agents need more than a title rep who shows up when there is a transaction.
They need resources.
They need ideas.
They need tools.
They need someone who is willing to sit down and help them think through their business.
That is where I have tried to carve out my niche.
Yes, I can help with title and escrow.
But I also want to help with marketing, systems, classes, events, and business-building ideas that make agents’ lives easier.
That is why I teach on topics like:
AI tools for real estate agents
Social media strategy
Facebook and Instagram Ads
Google Ads
Google Business Profile optimization
Farming strategies
Video marketing
Brand awareness
Listing exposure
Real estate content creation
Database marketing
Client education
Market data presentations
All of these topics matter because they help agents show up better in front of clients.
And when agents show up better, they build more trust.
Practical Education Beats Generic Advice
One of the biggest problems with real estate education is that it can be too generic.
You have probably heard advice like:
“Post consistently.”
“Follow up with your database.”
“Create more video.”
“Build your brand.”
“Use AI.”
“Run ads.”
All of that might be true, but it is not always helpful unless someone shows you what it actually looks like.
What should you post?
What should you say?
Who should you target?
What tool should you use?
What should your ad say?
What should your follow-up email look like?
How do you turn a market update into a video?
How do you use AI without sounding robotic?
How do you make your Google Business Profile better?
How do you create content if you do not feel like a content creator?
That is where practical education matters.
I try to teach in a way that gives agents real examples, real workflows, and real takeaways.
Because most agents do not need more motivation.
They need a process.
AI Is a Great Example
AI is probably one of the best examples of this.
Right now, a lot of agents are hearing about AI everywhere.
ChatGPT.
Claude.
Gemini.
Perplexity.
AI browsers.
Custom GPTs.
Projects.
Deep Research.
AI video.
AI image tools.
AI assistants.
It can feel like a lot.
And if someone just says, “You should be using AI,” that is not enough.
The better question is, “What should I use AI for in my real estate business?”
That is where things get interesting.
AI can help real estate agents:
Write listing descriptions
Create buyer guides
Build seller guides
Draft social media captions
Create email campaigns
Analyze MLS data
Generate market reports
Organize content ideas
Repurpose video transcripts
Create scripts for short-form video
Build presentations
Improve client education
Save time on repetitive tasks
That is useful.
That is practical.
That is something agents can walk away and try.
And that is the kind of education I want to keep providing.
Marketing Does Not Have to Be Complicated
Another thing I try to remind agents is that marketing does not have to be complicated.
It needs to be consistent.
It needs to be clear.
It needs to be useful.
But it does not need to be perfect.
You do not need a massive production team.
You do not need to go viral.
You do not need to post every single day.
You do not need to become someone you are not.
You just need to find a way to stay visible, provide value, and communicate clearly with the people you want to serve.
For one agent, that might be short videos.
For another agent, that might be email.
For another agent, that might be neighborhood farming.
For another agent, that might be educational events.
For another agent, that might be Google Business Profile optimization.
For another agent, that might be running simple brand awareness ads to their sphere.
The key is finding a strategy that fits your personality, your market, your schedule, and your goals.
That is why I teach on so many different marketing topics.
There is no one-size-fits-all strategy.
Brand Awareness Matters More Than Most Agents Realize
A lot of real estate agents only think about marketing when they need a lead right now.
But brand awareness is a long game.
It is staying in front of people before they need you.
It is becoming known for something.
It is making sure your database, past clients, local community, and industry partners remember what you do and why you are valuable.
That does not happen from one post.
It does not happen from one email.
It does not happen from one ad.
It happens through repetition.
And that is where agents can start to build momentum.
You can use social media.
You can use email.
You can use events.
You can use video.
You can use direct mail.
You can use Google.
You can use educational content.
You can use AI to help make all of that easier.
But the bigger point is this:
People cannot work with you, refer you, or remember you if they never see you.
The Best Agents Keep Improving
The agents I really enjoy working with are not always the ones who have everything figured out.
They are the ones who keep trying to get better.
They show up.
They ask questions.
They test ideas.
They are willing to learn something new.
They do not pretend to know everything.
They just keep stacking skills.
That is how real growth happens.
You learn one platform.
Then you learn one workflow.
Then you improve one part of your follow-up.
Then you create one better piece of content.
Then you tighten up one presentation.
Then you build one better system.
Over time, those small improvements compound.
That is what I love seeing at these classes and events.
Agents show up, take one idea, apply it, and then come back ready for the next thing.
That is how you build confidence.
Why I Appreciate Everyone Who Shows Up
I also want to say this clearly.
I really appreciate everyone who shows up.
There are a lot of things agents could be doing with their time.
You could be on appointments.
You could be making calls.
You could be working on contracts.
You could be handling clients.
You could be doing anything else.
So when agents take the time to attend a class, come to an event, ask questions, and keep learning, I do not take that lightly.
My goal is always to make it worth your time.
That does not mean every class will solve every problem in your business.
But if you leave with one tool, one idea, one strategy, one better question, or one thing you can try, then I feel like we are moving in the right direction.
That is what matters to me.
Real Estate Education Should Feel Useful
I have sat through plenty of classes where I left thinking, “What was I supposed to do with that?”
I do not want my classes to feel that way.
I want the content to be actionable.
I want it to feel approachable.
I want agents to be able to say, “Okay, I can actually try this.”
That is especially important with marketing and technology.
A lot of agents already feel behind.
They see other agents posting more content, running ads, using AI, building brands, and creating videos, and it can feel intimidating.
But most of this stuff is learnable.
You do not need to be perfect.
You just need to start.
That is the message I try to bring into my classes.
Start somewhere.
Pick one thing.
Get better at it.
Then build from there
.
Upcoming Classes and Events

I host classes and events focused on helping real estate professionals grow their business, save time, market smarter, and stay ahead of what is happening in the industry.
Some classes are hands-on.
Some are strategy based.
Some are focused on technology.
Some are focused on marketing.
Some are built around networking and community.
But the goal is always the same.
Show up, learn something useful, meet good people, and leave with something you can apply.

Final Takeaway
The real estate business is not getting simpler.
Agents are being asked to do more, market better, communicate faster, educate clients more clearly, and stay visible in a competitive environment.
That is exactly why I keep teaching.
I want to help real estate agents simplify the noise, learn practical strategies, and find tools they can actually use.
Whether the topic is AI, social media, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, farming, Google Business Profiles, brand awareness, or something else in the marketing world, my goal is to help you walk away with one thing you can implement.
And if one idea helps you save time, win a client, improve your marketing, or feel more confident in your business, then it is worth it.
