Winter in Colorado is more than just a season—it’s a way of life. And what better way to kick off ski season than with a unique blend of fresh gear prep, high-quality whiskey, and great company?

Our recent Waxing & Whiskey event at Chopper's Sports Grill in Denver was the perfect après-style experience, bringing together real estate professionals and outdoor enthusiasts for an afternoon of connection, community, and winter readiness.

Held on Tuesday, February 13, this event offered everything from professional ski and snowboard waxing to guided whiskey tastings, plus plenty of opportunities to network with fellow agents, industry partners, and friends of the real estate community.

A Unique Après-Ski Experience in the Heart of Denver

Colorado's real estate community works hard all year long—but we also know how to enjoy the ride. At Waxing & Whiskey, we celebrated that balance with an afternoon designed to help agents gear up for winter while winding down with good vibes and great drinks.

Guests enjoyed:

  • Fresh waxes for skis and snowboards, just in time for the next big powder day

  • Curated whiskey tastings, featuring smooth sips and expert insights

  • Après-style energy, complete with laughter, stories, and laid-back networking

  • A welcoming, relaxed setting at the ever-popular Chopper’s Sports Grill

Whether you were there to get your gear tuned, sip a new favorite whiskey, or connect with colleagues in a casual setting, there was something for everyone.

Designed for Realtors, Loved by All

While this event was hosted with real estate professionals in mind, Waxing & Whiskey welcomed a diverse mix of attendees—from seasoned brokers and title reps to lenders, inspectors, and industry friends.

It was an opportunity to build authentic connections beyond the closing table, surrounded by shared interests like skiing, snowboarding, and mountain life.

In a business where relationships are everything, events like these serve a bigger purpose: creating the trust, collaboration, and camaraderie that fuel long-term partnerships.

A Big Thanks to Our Hosts and Partners

A special thank you goes out to the team at Chicago Title for helping make this event a success, and to Chopper's Sports Grill for providing the perfect après venue.

Your continued commitment to fostering community, fun, and professional growth in the real estate industry is what sets events like this apart.

Why Events Like Waxing & Whiskey Matter

In the fast-paced world of real estate, it’s easy to get caught up in the grind. That’s why it’s so important to create moments of pause—moments where we come together not just as professionals, but as people.

Waxing & Whiskey reminded us of the value of slowing down, connecting face-to-face, and embracing the lifestyle that comes with living and working in Colorado.

It’s about more than just winter sports. It’s about building a network rooted in shared experiences, mutual support, and the belief that business and enjoyment don’t have to be separate.

Waxing & Whiskey brought Colorado’s real estate pros together for ski prep, whiskey tasting, and relaxed networking. Discover how this après-style event blended business with winter fun in Denver.
