When smartphones first came out, app stores exploded with options. Remember all those flashlight apps? Dozens of them. All doing pretty much the same thing. That’s exactly how AI feels right now.

Every day, there’s a new app promising to change your business. AI tools for captions. AI tools for blogs. AI tools for listing descriptions, video scripts, social media, lead gen - you name it.

Some of them are amazing. Some of them are not. But most of them do 80% of the same stuff. If you're a real estate agent trying to grow your business in 2025, this blog is your permission to stop overthinking and start doing.

The Problem: Too Many Tools, Not Enough Action

Here’s what I see from a lot of agents:

  • You’ve heard that AI can save you time.

  • You want to use it for marketing, content, or follow-up.

  • But… you don’t know which tool is best.

  • So you research. You download. You test. You pause.

  • You get overwhelmed. And then - nothing gets implemented.

Sound familiar?

Let’s break the cycle.

The Truth: You Don’t Need the “Best” Tool - You Just Need A Tool

Look, I love experimenting with the newest platforms as much as anyone. But if you’re just starting out with AI, don’t get stuck in the comparison trap.

The best AI tool is the one you actually use.

Whether it’s:

  • ChatGPT (for writing content, emails, and scripts)

  • Canva’s Magic Studio (for graphics and presentations)

  • CapCut (for video editing and auto-captions)

  • Gamma.app (for beautiful client presentations)

  • Wispr (for voice-to-text automation)

…just pick one.

Start small. Play around. Let it help you with one part of your business—like writing a listing description or coming up with video ideas.

Then build from there.

Real-World Ways Agents Are Using AI Right Now

Here are 5 simple ways real estate agents are using AI today (and you can too):

  1. Creating Instagram Reels scripts

  2. Writing polished property descriptions

  3. Summarizing MLS data for clients

  4. Generating captions for listing videos

  5. Building listing presentations in under 10 minutes

And most of that is done using just ChatGPT or Canva.

No need to pay for 10 different subscriptions. Just pick one tool and use it consistently.

Take Imperfect Action

Here’s what I tell every agent in my AI + Tech class:

If you're reading this and you’ve been sitting on a CapCut video with no caption, a listing with no description, or a blog with no first sentence - this is your sign to stop waiting.

Pick a tool.

Take action.

Refine it later.

Struggling to choose the best AI tool for your real estate business? Here’s why the secret isn’t picking the “perfect” app - it’s taking action. Learn how to start using AI to market smarter and save time.
