The 2nd Annual Dodge for a Cause charity tournament brought together some of the most passionate real estate professionals in Colorado for a day that blended intense competition, community connection, and giving back in a meaningful way.
Held in Littleton, Colorado, this year’s tournament featured six-player teams made up of real estate agents, lenders, and industry partners, all playing to win not just bragging rights—but the power to direct the day’s fundraising to a local nonprofit.
A Day of Purpose-Driven Competition
As the matches unfolded, so did moments of laughter, athleticism, teamwork, and camaraderie. Every player brought their energy to the court, dressed in team gear or creative costumes, while friends, family, and colleagues showed up in full force to cheer them on.
Congratulations go to Team Mile High Lifestyles, who earned the championship title and, with it, the opportunity to choose where the donation would go. Their charity of choice: the Wild Animal Sanctuary, a beloved Colorado-based nonprofit that rescues and rehabilitates large carnivores from around the country. Their win resulted in a $2,400 donation to the sanctuary—proof that fun and philanthropy can absolutely go hand-in-hand.
Why Dodge for a Cause Matters in the Real Estate World
The real estate industry can be fast-paced and transactional, but events like Dodge for a Cause help remind us that community comes first. Whether you're an agent closing deals, a lender coordinating financing, or a title partner supporting transactions behind the scenes, stepping away from the desk and into events like this is a chance to recharge and reconnect.
Networking through charity events allows for meaningful engagement outside of the usual business setting. It creates space for professionals to bond over shared values—not just shared clients. That foundation builds stronger relationships, more trust, and a better professional ecosystem for everyone involved.
Plus, giving back is simply the right thing to do—and when it’s tied to a well-organized, high-energy event, people show up.
Building Momentum for the Future
This is the second year of Dodge for a Cause, and it’s clear the momentum is building. The energy, turnout, and overall impact were bigger than the inaugural year—and if the buzz after this event is any indication, we’re on track for an even larger tournament in 2026.
Participants are already talking about next year’s team ideas, costumes, and fundraising goals. There’s genuine enthusiasm growing within the Denver and Littleton real estate communities, and that excitement is turning into action.

Gratitude for a Great Day
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s event—from those who played, donated, organized, or simply showed up to support. Your involvement made a real impact.
Special appreciation goes to Gavin Ekstrom and the team at Cross Country Mortgage, along with our event partners and sponsors. And of course, congratulations again to Team Mile High Lifestyles for their win and their heartfelt donation decision.
