Can AI really create professional, on-brand emails for real estate without you knowing how to code or design?

Short answer: yes. And once you set this up correctly, it becomes one of the biggest time-savers in your business.

In this post, I’m walking you through exactly how I use AI to create beautiful, coded emails for my real estate email marketing, step by step. This is the same system I use to send monthly event emails, class announcements, and value-driven newsletters to my audience across Colorado.

If you are a real estate agent, lender, or industry professional who wants better emails without spending hours inside your email platform, this is for you.

Why I Stopped Manually Building Emails

Let me give you some context. I’m Jerad Larkin with Chicago Title. I help real estate professionals grow their business through marketing, education, and systems, not just by closing transactions.

In 2025 alone, I hosted and taught 119 classes and events across Colorado. That means a constant need to communicate clearly and consistently with my email list.

Manually building emails every month became unsustainable.

I needed a system that was:

  • Fast

  • Repeatable

  • On-brand

  • Easy to update

  • Scalable

That’s where AI completely changed the game.

The AI Tool I Use for Email Creation

The core tool I use for email creation is Claude AI.

At the time of recording, Claude is hands-down the best large language model I’ve used for:

  • Writing HTML email code

  • Structuring long-form emails

  • Following technical instructions

  • Interpreting external links like Eventbrite pages

I still use ChatGPT for many things, but when it comes to coding emails, Claude consistently outperforms it.

The best part? I built this entire system using the free version of Claude.

The Big Shift: AI Does the Heavy Lifting

Here’s the mindset shift you need to make.

You do not need to:

  • Be an email expert

  • Be a designer Attach

  • Understand HTML

  • Build emails from scratch every time

Instead, you build one powerful AI prompt, then reuse it every month.

Once this is set up, your workflow becomes:

  1. Update your event or content info

  2. Paste links into Claude

  3. Copy the generated code

  4. Paste it into your email platform

  5. Send

That’s it.

The Foundation: Your Brand Kit Matters

Before AI can create emails that actually look like you, it needs context.

That starts with your brand kit.

Here’s what I feed into my AI prompt:

  • Brand colors and hex codes

  • Logo URL

  • Preferred fonts

  • Tone and voice

  • Who I serve

  • What the email is for

  • The email platform I use

If you skip this step, your emails will feel generic.

If you do this right, AI creates emails that feel custom, intentional, and consistent with your brand.

My Email Platform of Choice

I send all of my emails through Mailchimp.

You can use other platforms, but this system works incredibly well with Mailchimp because:

  • It supports custom HTML

  • It hosts images cleanly

  • It handles merge tags like first names

  • It has built-in send time optimization

The process stays the same regardless of platform. The only difference is how you paste the code.

My Monthly Email Use Case

Here’s the real-world example I use every single month.

I run a monthly events email that includes:

  • All upcoming classes

  • Live events

  • Locations across Denver Metro and Colorado Springs

  • Eventbrite registration links

Instead of manually typing this out, I give Claude:

  • The month and year

  • My Eventbrite links

  • A short description of what the email should do

Claude then:

  • Reads each Eventbrite link

  • Pulls the date, time, and location

  • Writes a short description

  • Organizes events chronologically

  • Codes the entire email in HTML

That alone saves me hours every month.

How Claude Handles Eventbrite Links

This is where Claude really shines.

When I paste Eventbrite links into Claude, it can:

  • Extract event details automatically

  • Organize multiple events cleanly

  • Separate Denver Metro and Colorado Springs

  • Maintain formatting consistency

  • Build clickable buttons for each event

ChatGPT struggles with this. Claude does not.

Creating the Email Inside Mailchimp

Once Claude finishes generating the email code, here’s what I do:

  1. Log into Mailchimp

  2. Click “Create Email”

  3. Select my audience

  4. Add a subject line and preview text

  5. Choose “Code your own email”

  6. Paste the HTML code

  7. Save and preview

That’s it.

No templates. No dragging blocks around. No formatting headaches.

Subject Lines Still Matter

Even with perfect design, your email is useless if no one opens it.

I still use AI to generate:

  • 10 to 15 subject line options

  • Preview text variations

Then I manually choose the one that feels most natural.

Subject lines make or break open rates. AI helps with ideas, but you still make the final call.

My Send Time Strategy

Mailchimp will suggest an optimized send time, but I stick to what works for my audience.

Personally, I send most emails early in the morning around 3:00 AM.

Why?

  • My email is near the top when people wake up

  • Less competition in the inbox

  • Higher visibility

Test this for your audience. There’s no universal rule.

Image Hosting Tip You Need to Know

This part is important.

If your email includes images, they must be hosted inside your email platform, not externally.

Here’s what I do:

  • Upload my logo to Mailchimp’s Content Studio

  • Copy the image URL

  • Paste that URL into Claude

  • Let Claude update the code

This ensures:

  • Faster load times

  • Better deliverability

  • Fewer broken images

You only have to do this once.

Testing Before Sending Is Non-Negotiable

Before I schedule any email, I always:

  • Send myself a test email

  • Open it on desktop and mobile

  • Click every link

  • Check formatting

  • Confirm personalization works

One bad email to your entire list can do more harm than skipping a send altogether.

How This Becomes Plug and Play

Once your prompt is built, this system becomes incredibly efficient.

Every month:

  • Update the dates

  • Paste new links

  • Regenerate the email

  • Send

No redesign. No rethinking. No wasted time.

This is how you scale email marketing without burning out.

Other Ways You Can Use This System

This isn’t just for event emails.

You can use the same framework for:

  • Market update newsletters

  • Neighborhood spotlights

  • New listing announcements

  • Buyer and seller education

  • Community updates

  • Vendor spotlights

Just tweak the prompt and reuse the structure.

Why I Recommend Claude for Emails

To be clear, I use multiple AI tools every day.

But when it comes to coding emails, Claude is the clear winner.

It follows instructions better, writes cleaner HTML, and handles complex inputs like event links far more reliably. And again, the free version gets you surprisingly far.

Final Thoughts

AI isn’t about replacing you. It’s about removing friction.

If email marketing feels overwhelming, time-consuming, or inconsistent, this system fixes that. You stay focused on strategy and relationships. AI handles the structure and execution. That’s how I run my business, and that’s why I teach this to real estate professionals across Colorado.
