92 Real Estate Events in 2024: What I Learned from a Year of Hosting

Did I really host 92 events in a single year? Yep. And here’s what I discovered along the way.
In 2024, I organized and hosted 92 classes and events for the real estate community across Colorado. From educational workshops to dodgeball tournaments, each event taught me something new about connecting with people and building community.
A Year Packed with Variety
This year wasn’t just about real estate classes. I experimented with all kinds of events, including:
🏡 Real estate classes - from AI to Google Ads to farming strategies
💪 Real estate workouts - boxing, HIIT sessions, and gym meetups
😂 Comedy shows - laughter always brings people together
🏐 Charity dodgeball tournaments - networking meets philanthropy
🏓 Pickleball hangouts - one of the hottest networking activities right now
⛳ Mini-golf tournaments - casual, fun, and great for conversation
🎙️ Real estate panels - top industry leaders sharing insights
🍸 Parties and happy hours - because sometimes business happens best over a drink
The Biggest Takeaways
After hosting nearly 100 events in a single year, here’s what stood out most:
➡️ Different events attract different crowds. A pickleball tournament will bring out a totally different group than a market insights class. And that’s the beauty of it-you get to connect with people in new ways.
➡️ Low attendance isn’t a loss. Some of my best connections came from smaller events where there was more time for genuine conversations.
➡️ Consistency matters. The more often you show up, the more trust you build. People remember who consistently brings value to the community.
➡️ Events build momentum. Hosting just one is great, but stacking multiple events throughout the year creates real buzz.
Why I Love Hosting Events
At the end of the day, I’m in the title business. But what makes me stand out in this industry isn’t just processing closings-it’s creating opportunities for agents, lenders, and investors to connect, learn, and grow together.
I love seeing familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and watching the Colorado real estate community grow stronger each time we gather.
And if 2024 was this exciting, 2025 is going to be even better. More classes. More collaborations. More fun.
If you’re in real estate, don’t underestimate the power of hosting events. Whether it’s five people or fifty, the connections you create can impact your business for years.
