Introduction If you're looking to ramp up your SEO game and drive organic traffic to your website, this guide is for you! I’ll walk you through how to leverage AI—specifically ChatGPT—to create a high volume of SEO-rich blog content designed to attract your ideal clients. As a title insurance professional with Chicago Title, I've been using these strategies extensively in my own business. Now, let’s dive into how you can get started.
Step 1: The Power of AI in Content Creation
AI, and particularly ChatGPT, can be a powerful tool to help you generate large quantities of targeted content quickly. By feeding ChatGPT strategic prompts, you can build blog posts that are optimized for the specific keywords your audience is searching for. The goal here is to scatter "breadcrumb" blog posts across the web that organically lead back to your website, converting visitors into leads.
Step 2: Defining Your Content Strategy and Ideal Audience
Your content is only as effective as it is targeted. Start by identifying your target audience. Ask yourself:
Who are you trying to reach (first-time homebuyers, real estate investors, etc.)?
What are their needs or concerns?
How can you address these with helpful, informative content?
To help define your target audience’s interests, use a tool like AnswerThePublic.com, which aggregates popular search terms. For instance, if your audience is interested in selling a home, type in “selling a home,” and the tool will provide a list of related search phrases people are using. Download the CSV file of these phrases; you’ll use it later to fuel your ChatGPT prompts.
Step 3: Using ChatGPT to Generate SEO Blog Content
Now that you have a list of target keywords, it’s time to generate blog posts. Here’s how:
Upload Your Keywords: Take the CSV file from AnswerThePublic, and upload it into ChatGPT.
Prompt ChatGPT Strategically: The effectiveness of ChatGPT depends on the specificity of your prompts. If you're targeting real estate, provide ChatGPT with clear instructions. For example:
"Write a blog post targeting first-time homebuyers in Denver, CO."
"Include SEO keywords related to title insurance and closing processes."
Using a pre-made prompt template can also simplify this step. I recommend using a specific template created by industry expert Jason Pantana and the Tom Ferry team. I’ll link to it in the resources below.
Generate Content in Bulk: I schedule about 400 blog posts at a time to keep my content pipeline full. If you're starting, you might aim for a smaller batch of 50 or so to test engagement.
Step 3B: Download the Chat GPT Prompt
To get started with creating your own SEO-focused blog content, you can download a ready-to-use ChatGPT prompt template, specifically designed for real estate agents, courtesy of Jason Pantana and the Tom Ferry Team. This template provides a step-by-step guide on how to prompt ChatGPT effectively, helping you tailor blog posts for your audience and optimize each one for search engines.
Step 4: Formatting for SEO and Engagement
Each blog post needs to be optimized for SEO and user engagement. For every post:
Create Metadata: This includes a catchy title and a meta description that makes people want to click.
Add Visuals: Ask ChatGPT to generate an image description, then use a design tool to create engaging visuals for your post.
Internal Linking: Add links to relevant content on your website, helping readers navigate and explore.
Step 5: Automate Posting and Track Results
After generating your posts, schedule them on your website or blog platform. I use Wix, which allows me to queue content months in advance, but other platforms work just as well.
